In keeping with being a true Montana girl, this week we drove over to Kalispell to meet my uncle Sid ( who raises some cattle) part-way from Cut Bank to pick up the 1/2 beef we are splitting with Mom and Dad. We drove over and came back with 450 pounds of frozen meat in the car. Thinking today about Grandma's stories of living through the Depression and eating potatoes. Can't tell you how thankful, I am to have a freezer full of meat right now.
